The Niue Government

The Niue Chamber of Commerce (NCOC) maintains a strong and collaborative working relationship with the Government of Niue (GoN), grounded in a shared commitment to supporting private sector development and sustainable economic growth. With Private Sector being the 7th Pillar in Niue’s National Strategic Plan, the relationship with the GoN is reflected in ongoing dialogue and the Public Private Partnership, joint initiatives, and policy advocacy efforts aimed at creating a business-friendly environment. Through coordinated support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), workforce development, and infrastructure planning, the NCOC works closely with government ministries to ensure that the voice of the private sector is represented in national decision-making. The Chamber also supports government-led economic recovery and resilience strategies, particularly in areas such as tourism, digital transformation, trade, and climate change.
